FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):
EX: The article cites Maria Nikolajeva, a professor of at Cambridge, as saying that Bella does not "in any way promote independent thinking or personal development" in women, instead portraying a woman "meek and willing to do anything for her vampire boyfriend" (POV).
The author of the article Bobby Webster attempts to analyze the subject and asks the controversial question if whether or not "assisted suicide" should be legal to those with a "terminal illness" (Webster).
Webster writes that "Dr. Jack Kevorkian" was nicknamed "Doctor Death" and found guilty of "second degree murder" for assisting the suicides of "45 people" (Webster).
According to the source, "voluntary euthanasia has been legal since 1983" in the Netherlands and over 3,000 people have "requested" to end their lives (Webster).
Webster's argument is that "every human has a right to life" and the right of speech does not remove the "right to remain silent".Therefore the right to choose to die is "implicit" in the right to live (Webster).
On the other hand, Webster states that there is no comparison between right to live and "other rights" and to assist someone in suicide is "immoral" because it deprives people "of all choices they might make in the future" (Webster).

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION):

Bobby Webster, former World Schools debating champion talks about both the pros and cons of Voluntary Euthanasia/Assisted Suicide. On the site there is an open discussion board where people can comment, debate, and leave feedback for others on the topic. There is also a list of a number of different sites that can be used as a source for the subject.

Credibility of Source:
Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site?

Bobby Webster, from The United Kingdom, is a former World School debating champion. He has taught debating on five different continents. He is considered the UK's leading independent think-tank. And the website, The International Debate Education Association (IDEA), develops, organizes and promotes debate and debate-related activities in communities throughout the world.

Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business?

This article is more informative than anything. Webster is trying to spark up a debate between the community.

Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing?

There is not a bias due to the fact that he argues both sides of the topic.

References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility?

The author talks about the court case of Dr. Jack Kevorkian but it adds to his credibility showing that he is well informed.

Use of Source: How will you use this source in your project?

I plan to use this source when stating the pros and cons of voluntary euthanasia/assisted suicide. I will also use some of the commentary and opinions from the people on the discussion board to show how others feel about such a controversial subject.
